Jessica Holdcraft is a full-time Instructor in the Surgical Technology program at Utah Tech University, where she has been teaching since January 2023. She is a Certified Surgical Technologist and holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Surgical Technology as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Administration.
Jessica graduated as a Certified Surgical Technologist in May 2015 from the same Surgical Technology program she now teaches in. In addition to her instructional role, she continues to work part-time in the operating room, allowing her to bring current, real-world clinical experience into the classroom.
Beyond teaching, Jessica serves on the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) Board of Directors Assembly for the state of Utah. At Utah Tech University, she is the faculty advisor for the Surgical Technology Club and actively helps organize academic, professional, and community-focused events for students throughout the year.
Jessica’s passion for surgical technology is rooted in both education and practice. She is deeply committed to student success and takes pride in preparing future surgical technologists for meaningful and impactful careers in the operating room. She approaches each day with enthusiasm for her profession and a dedication to excellence in teaching and patient care.
