Alycia Bracken, MSN, RN, is an experienced nurse educator with a diverse background in clinical practice and academic instruction. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Utah Tech University and her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Western Governors University.
Before transitioning full-timeĀ into academia, Alycia worked in many specialties, gaining hands-on experience in pediatrics, behavioral medicine, neonatal, postpartum, cardiovascular, neurological, and general medical surgical care. During this time, she began teaching as an adjunct instructor and quickly discovered a passion for education and mentoring future nurses.
Alycia believes that effective nursing education combines real-world experience, evidence-based practice, and a supportive learning environment. She is committed to fostering professional integrity, critical thinking, and lifelong learning among future nurses to ensure excellence in patient care and leadership within the profession.
