She always aims to leverage her comprehensive education for impactful research and practical solutions in public health.

As a geographer, Dr. Zhenyu Jin loves to travel and use geospatial technology (e.g., GIS, Remote Sensing, Drone, GPS) to solve real-world problems. He has long-held interests and expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), spatial analysis and modeling, satellite image analysis, and has authored and coauthored around 20 peer reviewed journal articles and book chapters.

Originally from Hong Kong, Dr. Ka-Wai Yu is Associate Professor of Music at Utah Tech University, where he teaches cello and string chamber music. He previously taught at Eastern Illinois University and Indiana Wesleyan University. He has performed, served as adjudicator, held masterclasses, and guest-conducted at various institutions and music festivals in Asia, Europe, and North America. He is the Principal Cellist of Southwest Symphony Orchestra, and is a founding member of the Zion Trio and the period-instrument ensemble Cosmopolitan Baroque. He is Past President of Utah’s American String Teachers Association, Artistic Director of the Cello Society of Southern Utah, and directs the annual Cello Festival of Southern Utah. He has presented in national and regional conferences organized by ASTA, NAfME, Historical Keyboard Society of North America and the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association. He was a recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Service Award and Board of Trustee’s Excellence in Education Award at Utah Tech University.
